Week 3: Endure Through Weariness
Text: Isaiah 40
1. Where do you personally feel the weariest right now, emotionally, spiritually, or physically, and what does Isaiah 40 reveal about God’s awareness of that weariness?
2. In what ways have you been faithful in serving, praying, and obeying, but still found yourself tired? How does acknowledging that “even youths grow tired” free you from shame or discouragement?
3. What does “waiting on the Lord” look like practically in your current season of life? Are there rhythms (rest, prayer, worship, Scripture, community with others) you’ve been neglecting that God may be inviting you back into?
4. How have you seen God give strength in the past when you thought you were at the end of yourself? What does that memory teach you about God’s character today?
5. If God promises renewed strength running without weariness and walking without fainting, what is one step of obedience or trust you can take this week that reflects your expectation that God will sustain you?
